How it works?

When a vehicle is detected by the first camera of the system, the reading of its number plate and the exact time of passage is recorded. This data is encrypted and compared with the passing times of the number plate readings at the output of the system, so that the system can compare the two and calculate the time the vehicle has taken to travel the given stretch of road and thus also the average speed during the journey.
